In Colorado Springs, it is often said, ˜If you dont like the weather, just wait a minute.

Example:

• Yesterday, April 30, 2008, it was almost 80 degrees out. I was wearing a tank top and flip flops.
• Today, May 1, 2008, it is snowing. I mean REALLY snowing ¦

May 1, 2008: 9:00am

May 1, 2008: 9:15am

May 1, 2008: 9:30am

May 1, 2008: 9:40am

And this is not just a little snow. This is sideways-blowing, sticks to everything SNOW. ¦ in May.

I love the fact that Colorado Springs has such diverse weather, but I am really sick of the snow and am really ready for Spring. Please?

Update: May 1, 2008: 10:45am Blue Skies? SUN?!?

Sometimes we just have to laugh. In fact, we like to laugh whenever possible.

More than likely, you will find yourself on a major search engine, like Google, Yahoo!, MSN or AOL when you begin your search.

Google is the most comprehensive search engine, and by far, the most popular. Second is Yahoo! Even though they each use different methods for determining what information shows up on each search, it all "looks" the same when you hit "search"... right? A list of possible answers to your query down the left side of your screen and "paid sponsors" on the right side of your screen. (Yahoo! even has some paid "sponsors" on the top of the screen as well.)

Well, thanks to Greg Swann, of the BloodHound Realty Blog, I came across a NEW search engine that is just WAY TOO COOL.

SearchMe.com is a brand new  search-engine-type site that delivers search results in a WHOLE NEW WAY. Purely VISUAL. It is still in "beta," which means that it is not totally ready for the public. However, I see it as one of the coolest tools to pop up in a long time.  

SearchMe.com will change the way you search for Colorado Springs Real Estate... or anything else for that matter.

Unfortunately, real estate agents, as a whole, do not have a great reputation and are often pegged as phony, insincere fibbers who care more about their commission check than their clients.

Regardless of how sadly accurate that may be of some people, that "image" is horrible and nothing like who we are.

So, on that note, here is a short video that embodies that "image" of real estate agents. We have enough of a sense of humor to find this quite funny, but also know that this is a great example of the type of Colorado Springs real estate agents that we are NOT.

This is a short post for the single purpose of helping any of my readers who have their OWN blogs increase their readership. This has nothing to do with Colorado Springs Real Estate, but I am sure some of you will find this very useful.
