Colorado Springs Real Estate Market UPDATE: Comparing Average April Home Sale Prices 2005 - 2008I recently wrote a post where I commented that the Colorado Springs Real Estate market home prices were closer to the mark of 2005’s home prices. After further research, I have found that the information sources that I was basing that off of were unreliable, so I removed that post as not to create any confusion, and apologize for any confusion it may have already created. This is a comprehensive update on how average home sale prices in Colorado Springs compare, from the month of April in 2005 - 2008. I only am comparing April sold data from year to year. The areas that I chose to compare were large parts of Colorado Springs with similar homes within the area and plenty of real estate activity from 2005-2008.
Black Forest Colorado Springs Real Estate Market
Although there was a decrease of -6% from 2006-2007, the Black Forest real estate market saw an average sale price INCREASE from 2005-2008 of +40%. That is an average of 13% increase a year! http://www.coloradospringsrealestateconnection.com/003174

Colorado Springs Neighborhoods: Scenes from Flying HorseThe new Colorado Springs neighborhood of Flying Horse is beautiful and is located in Northgate and is home to the Flying Horse golf course and the K-12 Discovery Canyon Campus. We drive through Flying Horse on our way to our office (in Gleneagle) and are in constant awe of how beautiful this neighborhood is becoming.

Colorado Springs Neighborhood Report ~ Deer Creek at Northgate
To the North is Liberty Heights - a Senior Lifestyle Community, and the Southern edge of Trailridge. Deer Creek offers excellent views of Pikes Peak and the Rocky Mountains - as it is situated on a series of foothills. It is hard to find a home in this neighborhood without wonderful views. Deer Creek at Northgate is one of a handful of newer neighborhoods in Northgate - the northernmost part of Colorado Springs- just North of Interquest Parkway and east of Voyager Parkway. The southern border of Deer Creek is dotted with a few small office buildings and is not far from New life Church and the World Prayer Center.
