As you drive east on Dublin Boulevard from Powers, you will see a makeshift cross towering above some trees on the north side of Dublin - just past Poudre.

Why is there a coss here?

Well, if you have lived in Stetson Hills for more than a year, you will know that that there has been some major building and earth moving going on off Dublin Blvd.. Even today, you can see a pile of displaced houses waiting for a new home.

Colorado Springs Real Estate Showing Stories: Deer Droppings and Human Prints

Homes for Sale in NW Colorado Springs - Oak Valley RanchDerek and I had the opportunity to spend the day showing homes for sale in Colorado Springs to an awesome couple from Duluth, Minnesota today. They are out here for a couple days to figure out exactly WHERE in Colorado Springs they want to live.

Derek and I met Mr. and Mrs. S in the morning and began our tour of homes for sale in Northwest Colorado Springs. This tour consisted of town homes in Rockrimmon, single family homes for sale in Oak Valley Ranch, town homes in Pinon Valley and town homes for sale in Holland Park.

It was amazing the variety of homes that fit their criteria. Some were in amazing condition - model like even, while others were, well, NOT model-like whatsoever. The tough decision boils down to:

The Hidden Blessings of Driving Over Your Camera

For any of your who know me, this will not come as a surprise...

The other day I went to my car, tossed my camera bag and purse into the passenger side, walked around to the drivers side, got in, started my car, put on my seat belt, turned up my stereo and drove away.

Well, apparently I had not zipped my camera bag all the way so when I "tossed" it into my car, the camera strategically fell under the car where I promptly drove it over, and you-guessed-it, demolished it into about 12.5 pieces. (Thank goodness the memory card escaped unscathed...)

These folks are first time homebuyers and have been shopping around for a mortgage. They were kind of discouraged because they had been told several times that they wouldn’t qualify for a mortgage. Not because they had BAD credit, but because they didn’t have ANY credit. This is a common misconception in the mortgage industry. Many people (including many mortgage lenders) believe that if you don’t have an actual credit score then there is not any financing available.
